Uluru is visible from almost every angle: from the tents, from the Dune House and from the Dune Top lounge. Aboriginal artworks hang through the public spaces, beside relics from the region's explorers. The lodge will close from 25 January to 19 April 2027 for a soft refurbishment.

The Dune House is the hub, with a restaurant, a bar and a lounge under a soaring canopy and a terrace over the desert. The menu is creative contemporary Australian cooking, combining premium produce with bush ingredients, including beef from Cape Grim in Tasmania, barramundi from Humpty Doo and shellfish from South Australia. Dinner alternates between the Dune House and Table 131°, the outdoor dinner served on a remote dune top under the stars with paired wines. The Dune Top has a help-yourself bar, a plunge spa and private dining pods.

Spa Kinara, named for the Pitjantjatjara word for moon, is a cool retreat with a design based on a traditional Aboriginal shelter. Every treatment begins with an Aboriginal welcome ceremony, and the products use the bush plants of the Red Centre, such as Kakadu plum, desert lime and Scented Emu Bush, with alkeme spa care.

Days go to guided walks with the lodge's naturalist guides, sunrise and sunset viewings, the Mala Walk and Kantju Gorge at the base of Uluru, Walpa Gorge at Kata Tjuta, and Bruce Munro's Field of Light installation of 50,000 stems.
